- School Safety Report: https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/safe-schools/
- Safety Report Current Concerns:
- The main concern is not having a fence around our playground. Our playground is next to a park, and it would be nice to have a separation between the playground and the park. This will help the recess staff in supervising the large space.
- Increasing presence of the SRO. The SRO does a great job, but is not at our school most of the time due to them covering so many buildings.
- The office staff has voiced concerns that the main door to the office is not secure like the others.
- Pickup and dropoff continues to be a concern for our community. This is addressed in our Safe Walking Routes plan.
- Safety Report Current Concerns:
- Digital Citizenship Report
- Review Attached Document – Digital Citizenship & the SCC
- Long term substitute teachers should be able to access LanSchool.
- Incorporated digital citizenship activities during STEM night.
- Hosted a digital citizenship week. There were daily announcements, lessons through Thrive Time, and a school assembly.
