Monthly Meeting Agenda

Thursday, February 20, 2020, 4:00pm, Conference Room 17

Members present: Marci Cardon, Natalee Thomas, Carrie Christensen, Debbie Durtschi, Phoenix Gatrell, Julie Winfree, Annette Hubley, Courtney Terry

 

Call to Order by- Marci       2nd-Julie       Time- 4:12

 

  1. Continue to Approve Minutes via email

-all approve to continue approve minute

  1. Update of SCC Roster
  2. School Report of safety drills
    1. Using dir-s (app used), shelter in place in February was successful.
    2. Hazardous drill in March
    3. Reviewing with students the name of drills and what to do if they aren’t in their usual place.
      1. Also, address that teachers will be using their phones to mark that the class is safe.
  3. Digital Citizen Table at Parent Teacher Conferences- volunteers are needed on Wednesday and Thursday night. There will be a table about digital citizenship.
  4. Update on current budget plan
    1. There may be an amendment before the end of the year.
  5. Presentation of Data for TSSA
    1. Julie presented the school wide data.
  6. Continue plan of Child Access Routing Plan (SNAP)- Safe Routes
    1. We will be updating and adding some signs to aid in improving the parking lot, drop off and pick up.
  7. Begin writing TSSP and LAND Trust Plan for upcoming school year.
    1. Julie shared the fund amount for both TSSP and Land Trust Plan.
    2. Julie shared that we don’t want to change goals for reading as much due to the desire to close the gap in reading.
    3. She also shared that the school is wanting to add a math goal and centered around growth also.
    4. As for a school climate goal, the school is desiring more sensory calm down tools— wobble chairs, creating a sensory room.
