Ridgecrest Roar – October 31, 2021

RIDGECREST ROAR      Oct. 31, 2021

Good evening Ridgecrest families,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I want to thank the parents and volunteers for a great Halloween on Friday.  Our students were wonderful and it was so fun to see the community out for the parade!  We would like to thank the volunteers as well as the parents that sent in donations, the students really enjoyed the parties.

Remote Learning Fridays: This Friday is the first of 6 Remote-Learning Fridays in Canyons School District.  Starting November 5th, six Fridays — one a month for six months — will be set aside for online learning or independent study. Remote Fridays are days of learning. Students are expected to use the time for independent learning  and will be provided with learning packets or assignments Canvas.  Teachers will be at the school working and use the time to create lesson plans. The six Remote-Learning Fridays are November 5, 2021, December 3, 2021, January 7, 2022, February 11, 2022, March 25, 2022, and April 22, 2022 (except Brighton High School). Breakfast and Lunch for Friday, will be sent home on Thursday afternoon with all kids that order the Friday breakfast/lunch.  Please have a conversation with your student so they know if you want a breakfast/lunch for Friday. More information can be found at canyonsdistrict.org.

Virtual Career Day: Last week we had a great response and are now up to 11 parents, but we still need more for our Virtual Career Day.   _Ridgecrest Career Day Flyer.pdf
