Good evening Ridgecrest families,
It is really amazing that this is the last newsletter of the calendar year. Friday will start our Winter Break. We have our usual Friday early release. Due to COVID precautions we will not be holding our annual sing along, but we will be sending out a few songs that the students have recorded in music class. Watch for those links in your email on Friday. I hope each of you have a wonderful Winter Break with your family and friends! We will see you back on Monday, January 3rd.
Lego Build To Give
This week in our STEM Booster class our students will be participating in Lego’s Build to Give charity event! By constructing a star with Legos and posting a photo of it on social media, Lego will donate one Lego set to a child in need for every star that is built! You can participate along with us from home and feel of the giving spirit, just hashtag #BuildToGive on your post. Look on our social media accounts in the coming weeks to see our student’s stars! Go to Cafe Zupas for a house-made meal and Ridgecrest Elementary PTA will earn up to 25% back! Mark your calendars and order your favorites on Tuesday 12/14 from 4pm-9pm. Spelling Bee practice word lists will be sent home this week! The Spelling Bee takes place in January. Class Spelling Bees will be on Tuesday, January 11. The two combined grade school bees will be help on Monday, January 24th. Start studying over the holiday break!
