RIDGECREST ROAR Nov. 8, 2020
Hello Ridgecrest families,
Winter is here! With the beginning of winter, we need to make sure all students are prepared to go outside for recess. Please send students in boots or shoes that will keep feet dry. Please make sure students have a jacket and gloves. Students will be asked to line up outside if it is 23 degrees or warmer in the morning. If it is 22 degrees we will bring them inside at 8:15 to wait for classes to start. We do use the wind chill temperatures.
Change of Placements:
Tonight, at midnight the window to change placements closes. If you wish to move from online to in-person or from in-person to online, please make sure you do it by midnight. Tomorrow morning, I will begin working on staffing and placement of students.
Please donate to our Food Drive this week. We have so much need in our own community this year, as well in our city. Please send unopened, non-expired, non-perishable food items with your student to school this week. IE: Peanut butter, canned meat, canned beans, canned soup/chili, spaghettios/ravioli, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, mac & cheese, fruit snacks & other boxed foods.
Family Night at ZUPAS! – Correction from last week, it is Tuesday the 10th!
REMINDER: Tuesday is our Fundraiser Night at Cafe Zupas. We hope you
can stop by to help us earn up to 25% back!
Cozy up with some delicious Zupas soup this Tuesday evening from 5:00-9:00 PM.
Take a look (and share with your students) our Facebook and Instagram this week for a special Halloween feature from a real mad scientist!
