RIDGECREST ROAR       Mar. 7, 2021

Hello Ridgecrest families,

We would like to welcome back new and returning students and their families. We realize for some of you it has been a year since you have been to school and we are so excited for you to be joining or returning to our school!  We are excited for this week and for the new energy our 30 plus students will bring.

I wanted to review the Drop off and Pick up procedures for everyone.  The Ridgecrest School Community Council prioritized parking lot safety this year.  We ordered some new signs to help the traffic flow smoothly and create a safe environment.  The first video is from the beginning of the year and shows how to properly maneuver through the drop off and pick up lanes. The second video discusses the new signage and some new routines we are asking parents to follow.  Please watch the first if you are new or need a reminder of the pick up and drop off procedures. I am asking everyone to watch the second video, it is under 3 minutes.

Thank you!

AB Calendar  2020-2021 AB Calendar 4 Day Week.docx

As we start a new term I wanted to attach the A/B calendar.  All students 2nd-5th Grades will be on an A/B schedule for the remainder of the year.  This is showing that what days your child will be in their homeroom in the morning.  Please reach out to your teachers for more information.

Pokemon Cards – Each year we struggle with Pokemon Cards.  Children bring them to school, trade them, and then are upset they are gone.  We are starting to have problems with them this year. We are asking that Pokemon Cards stay at home so they do not end up disrupting our learning. If they come to school we will simply collect them and parents can pick them up from the office.  Thank you for your help with this.
